I have a degree in fine art and commercial industrial photography. I have worked in editorial and product commercial photography. While working in the commercial field in the early 1990's I became interested in digital media. By using digital media I can combine my two passions, photography and painting into one. Painting digitally over photographs allows me to express my interpretation of the moment through the use of colors, light, texture, transparencies and hand made brush strokes. I like to work in creative portraiture, spending a fair amount of time with my client is to me the key to a good representative portrait of their lives in that moment. I take an ordinary moment and make it into a memorable piece of art.
I have lived in the United States for over 20 years and in Michigan since 2000. I love the quiet life of the country.
After having a family, I have learned how to appreciate baby, children, pet and family portraiture.
